Flora  in the European Alpine Region

"The flora in a place are all the plants there." BBC English Dictionary

In the European Alps there are, not surprisingly, lots of different types of Alpine flowers.  There are also plants and trees that can be seen in other parts of Europe.

The "Flora alpina" is a set of three reference books to the flora of the whole alpine region. In its 2670 pages it describes the flora together with maps and one or two colour photos for each plant. Both native and a selection of immigrant (Neophyte) plants are covered.
