Removing original Akasa Heatsink / Fan

Installing Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro

Akasa CPU Heatsink / Fan

The original CPU cooler was a Akasa AK-856 AMD Cooler. While this worked as designed, it was not able to cope with removing the heat generated by the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Pocessor 4200+ CPU under load and in high ambient temperatures.
