Directions: From the Hotel Post [1], head west for 500m and then turn left down the road past some houses (path A9). At the end of the road [2], take the path on the right and descend down next to a stream to the main road. Turn right along the road for 300m and cross to the lift station of the Wiedersbergerhorn Gondelbahn [3]. The path starts inbetween the buildings and goes up the steps to zig-zag across the meadow and pass under the lift cables to join a track from the main road (path A9). Turn right along this track to pass under the lift cables again and reach Kolberhof. Take the path on the right (R18) heading west. The path goes over a stream and joins a track [4]. Continue along this track (R18) to the Kapelle at Hygna [5]. From here turn right and descend along the side of the Hygnabach. When you reach a road take the track R14 with the stream on your left descending to Mear Kapelle [6]. Continue on to the main road. Turn left along the road into Reith [7]. Return to Alpbach by bus [8].

Description: This walk descends to the valley and then climbs up past the Wiedersbergerhornbahn lift valley station. From here it climbs slightly and then descends down the valley to Reith.
